Hey, sorry for the delayed response.

I've not been doing anything with Offaly Good for a while as I'm concentrating on other endeavors. I am, however, planning to get back to writing more posts and spreading the word about offal and its many benefits. It makes it all worthwhile when I get messages like yours.

Thanks for reaching out.

Jim, I just love your blog and your message!
I've been plant-based for a good 20 years, since my early teens. I formally studied nutrition, then took a break from working to have my son. I'm getting back to things now and looking into why I became so depleted postnatally. It is such a bitter pill to swallow that in order for us to thrive, something else has to die. But you are totally right. And thankfully there is a way to eat meat ethically, by choosing our sources wisely and consuming what is widely regarded as waste. Our whole way of eating, surviving on grains and counting "calories", makes zero sense - how did we get things so wrong? I have survived on plants and fake foods and supplements for too long now - I'm moving forward by eating real, nutrient dense foods - and ditching the supplements. It's a big shift mentally for me (vegetarianism is well ingrained) but I can no longer deny my humanity and i'm ready to THRIVE! :D
keep up the good work! I'll follow your blog with interest
